Feelin’ More HIIT
I had a steady flow of good carbs today, and regardless of my KILLER leg workout I felt like I was ready to tackle some more HIIT tonight. I ran 30/90. My max HR didn’t register, but I think it only got up to around 170s; I went on how I felt. I think I’ll have to stick to this interval split because I’m still low on energy and not so sure I could handle a longer interval… unless I backed the time to 15 minutes total.
I may have to adjust my routine to only include one HIIT and one SS cardio. Going off the dead leg syndrome to determine what I do.
I don’t have my peaking plans yet, but I’m pretty sure cardio and strength training will start tapering Wednesday – 10 days out.
The hunger pangs were less than yesterday but still there today. Calories were up though. Water good, carbs, fat etc. All good. Fingers crossed for a 149 in the AM!
