Day Four of Calorie Increase
Day four of calorie increase – 2087 calories, 27% fat
I slept like a baby last night. I think I was a little tense from my brother upsetting me the other day. Besides that I’m feeling much better. I woke up hungry as usual, but not nearly as strong as the night before. I made my favorite oatmeal blueberry “pancakes” this morning and enjoyed a cup of coffee no cream. J There’s another one to add to my list of “I thought I’d never…”
I had a dream last night that I was back in school and goody bags were being handed out. I was excited to get mine, but my excitement quickly diminished when I opened the bag up to find a lot of different types of beef sticks (Slim Jim type) and cheese sticks – cheddar. Mind you, these are the things that I used to eat on Atkin’s or “low carb”. Now I’m aware these are also what was causing my migraines, and GOD knows what else.
In my dream when I saw what was inside the bag it didn’t appeal to me at all. I gave away all of my “goodies” and was perfectly fine with it. The other interesting thing was that I didn’t care that I didn’t have any “treats” after giving it all away. I think this was symbolic that my food addiction may be departing from my life.
My energy is still coming back, but I can tell the difference. Today I did 30 minutes on the elliptical. Tomorrow I will start my strength training again, onwards from there. Yes, exercise on XMAS!! My husband is right behind me making sure I find a way. He’s been a great support to me in this process and without him I might not have made it as far as I have. We’ve had some struggles along the way, but we have made it through just fine. That’s another topic for another day – How not only I am being affected by my new lifestyles.
My New Year’s goal of being under 200 is looking REAL GOOD!
