I began my journey at 52% body fat.  Over half  of me was FAT!  My weight went from 250 lbs to a very lean (but unhealthy) 147 lbs.  In my journey I’ve learned a lot, grown a lot – I’ve had a ton of “aha” moments.  I competed in 2 competitions.  What an amazing experience!   I have been introduced to powerlifting, crossfit, and more.  Because of my passion for fitness I also became a personal trainer. The last 2 years I’ve been learning and healing from adrenal fatigue and stress induced hypothyroid.  I’ve learned that life is about more than weight loss or a number on a scale, yet I still struggle with acceptance some days.  I’m only human after all.

During recovery my weight shot back up to 229!  I’m finally at a point I can start working on getting it back off… the healthy way!  I’ve made a lot of progress in my healing .

click to see more I think the next chapter in this journey is to prove that competing doesn’t have to consist of starvation and over training.   I see a lot of people heading down a dark path and the road to recovery, although enlightening, could be avoided.  There’s too much hard work  involved to chalk it up to “lessons learned”.

 This blog is the continuation of my journey to figure (or is it?), but it’s now more than that.  It’s also a place for me to share ALL of me.  My thoughts, my daily life, my photography, my family, etc.

You look amazing I am so looking to do physique training. I what to shred about 35 lbs of fat. To see that you have flat abs and lean legs. This visual is realistic for me. I have so much loose skin that I want to nip and tuck so bad,, but want to give physique training my last option. Any tips you can pass would be great.
