A Year’s Worth of Excuses for Junk

Have you ever rationalized eating junk food because it was a holiday or special occasion?

2013 is approaching rapidly! After a tough November and December (the 2 months that get me every year), it has me looking at all the excuses for eating junk I will have in this next year. Take a look at how often that excuse comes up in my year.

That’s an excuse EVERY month… and very often multiple excuses in a single month. These are just the days I know about. What about the special occasions or events that pop up throughout the year without warning? I left out Birthdays and Anniversaries I don’t typically celebrate, so that’s an added threat of an excuse.

How does your year look?
How do you celebrate holidays and special occasions minus the junk?
